Mixed Media

These more recent works explore multiple layers of an image by creating paper from different plant materials and then embedding different non-paper materials into the actual sheet. These materials are further integrated into the paper through drawings with ink, prismacolor and oil pastels.

Older pieces incorporate a variety of materials in order to capture a particular idea or feeling.
